Year in Review

In the academic realm, we’ve come to the end of the year.  As we look back over this past year, it is clear God is working so that more and more students can be sent to proclaim His name! Since last summer, our team was able to bring over a year of work to completion with the release of a new summer mission trip application. Just two months later, we produced a training program for the review process of those applications. Since then over 2,500 students have used that application and over 1,500 have been through the review process to join us on mission trips this summer! Over 300 trip leaders who will lead over 100 trips in the US and internationally have been equipped. Finally, an entirely new ownership model for our summer mission trips is through the development process and is beginning to roll out. This model will enable our staff to invest in and recruit for specific summer missions even more effectively. Our summer mission sending is stronger than ever, and we are looking forward to what God will do in the years ahead!

This is just in the summer missions realm.  For our national summer assignment process, Scott and his co-leader again led a team of staff to successfully shepherd all 3,000 Cru campus ministry staff into appropriate summer ministry assignments, so they can best reach students! Praise God with us for all He has accomplished!

We are entering the summer grateful for all God has done, and ready to rest, recharge, and connect with Jesus and family during our sabbatical, so we can be ready for many more years of ministry!

Praise & Prayer Requests!

-Praise God with us for all he has done to reach and mobilize thousands of college students this year!

-Please pray for the over 1,500 students on summer mission trips now and throughout the summer. That they would grow in Christ, in community, and share their faith a ton!

-Please pray for us as we seek the Lord together during our sabbatical. For a closer walk with Him, rest, refreshment, fun, and to be recharged.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:28-30
