Happy Thanksgiving!

As we approach the end of 2020, the Thanksgiving season has caused us to pause and reflect. There has been much hardship and suffering this year. God’s hand has still been very evident in our own lives and ministry. We wanted to share with you a few unexpected ways we are seeing God work in 2020! What a great reminder that He has a bigger picture that we can not see.

Geographic boundaries have been eliminated in ministry!

Students from East Asia and the Middle East were able to attend our Summer of Theology cours-es. Our Inland Empire team here in SoCal, hosted an online event with students from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and even San Francisco. In the Sacramento area, 19 students and Cru staff have been connecting with 42 Central Asian students. This happened through a Facebook ad for students to practice their English with Americans. As they practice their English, gospel topics come up, and these American students and staff have the opportunity to share the gospel!

The rise to prominence of digital media, has caused more college students to step up into ministry.

“Millennials” and “Gen Z” students are “digital natives” and are often the ones teaching us how to best leverage digital platforms for ministry. Again, in the Inland Empire, students have reached out to thousands of new and returning students this Fall via Instagram!

Lastly, and certainly not least, we are overwhelmed by YOU!

Your faithful gifts, prayers, and encouragement to us and our ministry have been incredible! We thank God for you!

“…we look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen, for the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”

2 Corinthians 4:18
